Aruba Port Information and Shore Excursion Review

Aruba Shore Excursion
Aruba Catamaran Snorkel Sail
Kris

The waters were very, very choppy and we didn't see much at the first stop. If there was an "Arashi Reef" here, it sure eluded us.

The second stop was at the shipwreck of the Antila. This was a great site, many different fish to see. Not many people went in due to the rough water. We never saw the crew do a head count to make sure everyone made it back to the catamaran.

Third stop was at the tour companys restaurant (Pelican Marina). The food was cold (baked beans, chicken, corn... everything). You were handed one plate with the food already on it. No choices, no extras, even though it was advertised as a 'buffet-style luncheon'.

They advertised an open bar. During lunch, the catamaran was the only place for free drinks, and it was parked out in the water away from the restaurant. Even though the restaurant was owned by the same tour company, the drinks were outrageously priced. $5.00 for a pony size Heinekin. $7.00 for a Bahama Mama.

Only one member of the catamaran crew took time to mingle with the guests.

We have been on over 2 dozen excursions, this one being the worse.
