I do not recommend this excursion at all. The crew seemed inexperienced. Our snorkel gear fell out of the catamaran and out of the bag! The crew had to dive in and collect it all which wasted time. The snorkeling and lunch was nice but the turtle encounter was awful. We were dropped off in front of an industrial plant along with 4 other boats full of people. The guide didn't emphasize that the turtles should not be touched in order to protect them and not scare them off, so about 50 people jumped in and started grabbing the turtles. The water was dirty in front of the factory and you couldn't even get to the turtles with so many people in the water. I felt bad that so many people harassed these animals and think this excursion should be banned. This was not worth the time or money and was plain old cruel.
