Key West Port Information and Shore Excursion Review

Lorne Torres

We decided to take the Historical Trolley Tour. We met at the Amber Palace Lounge around 1:50pm and were escorted to the pier where we took a comfy Trolley around the Island. Key West is so very tiny yet has so many cool things that I wanted to try out and many great places to eat. I would definitely come back for a regular land vacation to this spot. At first I didn’t think it would be anything special, but it really is a great location spot. We had Brandon as the tour guide. He was good at explaining all the site locations and histories behind the many buildings, movie stars homes, and former military locations. You can’t get a home in Key West for less than 1 million dollars nowadays. If you want a relaxing tour I recommend this one. Oh, we also tried the Key Lime pie on a stick hand dipped in dark chocolate. It was amazing. I could eat about 5 of them, but limited myself to half of one. The wife ate the other half. After the tour, we walked around for a bit and I had to buy one of the famous Sloppy Joe sandwiches at “Sloppy Joes”. It was very very good. The wife thought it tasted similar to Manwich but I didn’t think so at all.
