Labadee Hispaniola Port Review

Leland & Yvonne Garner

Labadee is a private beach on the north coast of Haiti that is used exclusively by Royal Caribbean’s cruise ship passengers. Every time we visit we find they’ve made more improvements. You can join in a game of beach volleyball or just relax under a tree and soak up the cool refreshing ocean breeze. There are plenty of things to do like swimming or snorkeling and banana boat rides. If you’ve never been on a waverunner and you’ve got some extra cash you can try one out. You have to play follow the leader though so if you’re an experienced operator it would probably be too restrictive for you. For a few more bucks and if you’re brave enough you can even go parasailing. There are plenty of lounge chairs but if you want to pick a good spot you need to get off the ship as early as possible.
