Jessie Riviera In Jamaica we took the city tour, which was without a doubt the worst time we had on our cruise. About twenty of us were stuffed in a bus, and taken on a 2 1/2 hour drive around Montego Bay, through some of the poorest neighborhoods you can imagine. We made two stops, one at a 200 year old church, which featured derelicts sleeping in the graveyard and recovering from an apparent all night binge; and the other at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville bar, which may be fine if you are in your 20's and enjoy music so loud your teeth rattle. The only shopping we did on the island was at a series of cabana style huts next to the port which didn't offer much in the way of crafts but did have lots of overpriced rum and coffee. I can't say anything about the other tours offered during this stop, they may be a good value, but the city tour is definitely not.
