Laveena Anthony I've read many negative reviews about this port of call, but I just returned from a July 4th cruise vacation and had an amazing time in Nassau. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the straw market and were able to purchase several items at a "cheap price". The locals were not rude or pushy, in fact many were very helpful in directing us to the local bank (we ran out of cash). Atlantis was beautiful, although many areas are off limits unless you are a guest of the hotel. The Cab drivers are insane, I've never seen anyone drive that reckless in my entire life....whew!!!! All in all its a very nice port of call to experience..... after all, life is what you make it.
