Nassau, Bahamas Port Information and Shore Excursion Review

Chris I.

We took the harbor tour/Atlantis Tour in Nassau and were bitterly disappointed. Do not waste your money. The harbor tour was about 20 minutes long. This is everything you will see: a beach where the spring breakers party, a large property with some houses owned by Lloyd’s of London, Richard Harris’ house, a house owned by a lady that had 7 husbands, and a yoga ashram. That’s it. Then you’re at the dock where you get off and walk up to the Atlantis casino. It’s a big, glitzy hotel and casino. It has a big aquarium thing that you walk around and through and under. But, it all is no more spectacular than any of the dozen or so huge hotels in Vegas. The tour cost $24 per adult and $19 per kid. I’d say the harbor tour portion was worth about $1.95 per person and the hotel tour was worth maybe $9.95. Save your money and do something else in Nassau.
