We just returned from a Western Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas. Before we left, we decided to book our excursions on our own as opposed to booking them through the ship. We saw lots of great comments about Phil Lafayette and decided to book with him.

Boy are we glad we did. Phil met us at the port and took 9 of us (including 3 teenage boys) on a great tour of Ocho Rios. He told us about Jamaica's history and culture, sang songs to us, and showed us his favorite places to go.

We visited a garden where various herbs grow, did a little shopping, took a wonderful ride down a river in an innertube, visited a beautiful waterfall that emptied out into the ocean, and climbed Dunn's River Falls.

Phil was attentive, informative, flexible, and a really nice guy. He went out of his way to learn our names and a little something about us. He showed us how beautiful and lush Jamaica is.

He was a great tour guide and we highly recommend him! Ya Mon!
