Cher Dombrowski
If you have time in San Juan, be sure to walk
around Old San Juan. The area is relatively small and the architecture is
charming and streets very clean. There are lots of shops and in every shop
they were more than willing to make a deal. The prices in San Juan were
consistent with the rest of the islands, so if you see something you like,
don't bother waiting to check prices on another island after you sail. A
tour of the fort, El Morro, will only take about an hour but should not be
missed. It was just a couple blocks uphill from El Convento. There are
also two free trolleys that travel through Old San Juan with stops at the
best sights.
