We rode the water taxi ($1.00 pp) from the ship, into a shopping area, this is where we rented the car ($82.00). Driving on St. Lucia, what a nightmare. The next time I ride with Sammy, along steep cliffs, I will bring along a parachute. We drove on the left side of the road, up steep, narrow roads, to a volcano. I looked down, and I was about 4" from falling off a cliff. For a thousand times, I thought he was going over this cliff. I complained so much, he threatened to open my door and push me out of the car. This drive took one hour, but it seemed like a lifetime. My knuckles are still white. We drove by the mouth of a volcano, that was still bubbling and spewing steam. We also visited a beautiful flower garden.
