St. Maarten and St. Martin Port Information and Shore Excursion Reviews

Buddy Gilmore

In St. Martin if you plan on going to “Everything is Cool” Beach, you might consider walking rather than paying for the excursion. Its not a bad walk, and lots of shops to browse. If you do go to this beach, keep in mind that the restaurant there has $1 beers, great frozen drinks, a good band, but does not take American Express. Also – if you plan on doing a lot of shopping here (jewelry is a good bargain) make sure you have contacted your bank prior to departure to let them know you will be shopping out of country. If you don’t, you may get a hold put on your credit card, and you are out of luck. Make sure you stop by the Guavaberry Emporium on the right as you enter the “strip” of Philipsburg (free rum samples). Another good shop for souvenirs is Last Mango in Paradise.
