If you are going to St. Thomas and not sure what to see and do I have a great idea for you. When my wife and I got off of the ship in St. Thomas we had no clue what we wanted to do. We were standing around in the markets when we were approached by a young girl about hearing a time-share presentation at the Blue Beard's Castle resort. At first the thought of this sounded like a waste of valuable vacation time, but since we didn't have any other plans we agreed. The presentation did last close to an hour and a half (the girl who signed us up said we could leave after half an hour but we wanted to make sure we got the promised free stuff). We had no intention of purchasing a time-share property and when the presentation was over we told them we weren't interested. Here comes the good part. Just for sitting through the presentation you are given 2 free bottles of Cruzan Rum, a cab ride to anywhere you want to go on the island (within reason), free airfare for 2, and a 2 day/3 night stay at a Fairfield resort (you can also trade the airfare for an additional 2 day/3 night stay, which is what we did.) Get the taxi to take you to Maegan's (sp.) Bay or the Marriot Resort's beach. We went to the Marriot which was great and we heard from others that Maegan's was beautiful. If your willing sit through a fairly boring presentation and have the fortitude to say no to the time-share then I would definately recommend this idea.
